"When I found out my flight was cancelled I wanted to scream and lash out a magical spell to destroy the airport but all of a sudden I was moved by the X-Mas spirit and thought 'What would Harry do?'"

So yeah, I woke up at 6ish and got my face ready for the grand adventure of flying to Tennessee for the holidays. My initial plan was to call a Lyft and leave the house by 6:30. Shit! Lyft is not open until 7 so I'm glad a fellow Nick was on task right at seven and showed up with the purple mustache mobile. This dude was kind enough to let me film in his ride, sing along a tid bit and bust his ass to get me to the airport. What happens when I get there?

My flight was cancelled. So, I had to go stand in line with with about 60 other people and three dogs yipping at each other to find out how exactly I was going to get to Tennessee. Thankfully, this lovely lady named Chris was able to put me into Knoxville through Charlotte, NC. Then that flight was delayed by an hour and when I finally get to Knoxville I wait. It's time to wait. Hurry up and wait... on your luggage that will never come.

"Hi I'm waiting on my luggage from North Carolina," to which a dude Bryant replies, "Everything is already off the plane. Can I have your baggage claim ticket please?" So, I got the ticket and I was told that it they might be able to find it and then deliver it to me here in Tennessee. Why did this happen? Ever since the merger between American and US Airlines if one transfers to a flight by the other name the luggage may not be scanned appropriately as everything has yet to be "integrated properly." So, yeah. That sucked.

Gotta wear my dirty underwear for a while. Oh well, nothing's gonna get me down for a while. Happy Holidays y'all. Connect with me in various ways:
