Thinking about 15 yo not-yet-Camille who started writing a pirate story where the protagonist was utterly uninterested in any kind of romantic relationship but found a soulmate in her best friend. She also kept switching with presenting like a woman and a man, but felt only like herself deep down, not giving a fuck about gender. Younger me, who didn’t even know yet the words aromantic, asexual, nonbinary or queerplatonic relationship, knew who they really were deep down and what they wanted, and decided to write about it.
I should pick this story up again one day…
