I'm doing a big project for one my finals and I need examples of animated queer characters, specifically in children's animation from outside the US, Japan, England, and Canada. I tried googling characters and shows, but they're either all live-action series or made in the countries I just mentioned. After finals week, I'll drop the video on my art blog ( @the-magnificent-otaku-draws ) and tag whoever's suggestions made it in
They dropped today that the movie is going to be made! And I am somehow very glad? I need regularly my little piece of irreverent weirdness.
Though, as people have been commenting, there is some blurriness as to how the movie got made since the crowdfunding apparently did not go well, so... Weird and mysterious!
But even if it is not quite good I will still enjoy it. You have to allow yourself to be fully into a bizarre indie media from time to time, just for the fun of it and the love of the excentric. If you don't YOUR SOUL WILL DIE.
