This is the #Grosh, a red bean based soup with halal beef prosciutto, from @pravue_albanian_grill in #ridgewood #queens #nyc and it's smoky, thick, and a little funky from the chunks of meat floating in it. I’m stuck on you 🐙 Had to make it to @astoriaseafoodnyc before they closed up shop for their annual trip to Greece and today was a special trip bc it was my dad’s first time there (he loved it- obviously). Had a enormous feast and we try to get different things each time we go, but this one is a must order every time, this is the #octopus from #AstoriaSeafood in #LongIslandCity #queensny #nyc and it’s the most tender and delicious piece of octopus I’ve found in Queens. To date, Astoria Seafood is just one of my favorite places to eat in Queens because it feels like a microcosm of everything good in the borough, dope Greek food where you hand pick your fish and pay the market price no matter the prep, lots of people from all over the place having a ball and indulging in the BYOB (no corkage fee), and family time in a family place.
