“Ah Camiens, I don’t believe I’ve met very many of you.”

There's a certain unease Windblade feels sometimes around new people- it was hard, after all, to gauge someone's intentions. And when one spent their life with a constant hum of the thoughts of others, surface level, floating through their own mind?

It made her even more uncertain.

Something makes her nervous about this one, though, and her wings lift high on her back as she straightens, optics focusing quickly.

“It’s in your micro-expressions when you see me,” Airachnid explained, “Of course it gets swamped by your issues with me. But it’s still there and honestly it’s kind of flattering.” She sauntered ahead, having her back to an Autobot wasn’t ideal, but she calculated her risks.

“Imagine how I felt after taking a bite.”

At least, that is something she has and can appreciate about Airachnid: that even so brute honesty. She ponders if that has formed over time, or just lately. Arcee’s demiclaws reach for one of those slender wrists with the deadliest claws - gently, if not cautiously.

     ✾    ─    She quickly grasps hold of the geode, cautious not to drop it. Blue of the crystals glimmering like stars against darkness of a void. Captivating Arcee, as she cannot shift her optics away from it. It was true she had mixed some of the traditions with what Jack and others had taught her. It reminded her of the second home: Earth.
