They told Thea it would be impossible. Seeing no other choice, Thea took the risk anyway. Now, seeing the edge of the large Christmas tree peak out from the apartment window, Thea knew she had proven them wrong. She had managed to travel back without any incident. Looking around the city, it amazed her how through all of the riots and chaos, it still all looked the same.
Not giving herself to reminiscent old memories, Thea slipped on her black cat- like mask and grabbed onto the fire escape. The climb up the few flights on the fire escape was simple compared to how much work it took her to travel back to that date. It didn't take her long to reach the high floor of her old apartment. She glanced into the window of the apartment before opening it and stepping in. It sounded like younger Thea didn't have any company, which made things ideal for her. Remaining as quiet as she can, she slowly walked over to the stairs.
