Everything's a shit show for first night. But theres a lot in the streets. You can probably duck into any bar and theres always fireworks

First Night Pittsburgh is always fun. Concerts, art displays, fireworks. Good times.

It looks as if the Warhol Museum is going to be open New Year's Eve (closed New Year's Day). It supposedly closes at 5, but that's their regular hours. Maybe they'll be open later for the holiday. You also might try First Night Pittsburgh in the " 14-block Cultural District " downtown.

as a matter of interest... where do they set off the fireworks from? is it somewhere on the river? just trying to work out if I’ll be able to see them from the apartment lol
