The halfa wakes up some hours later. The blindfold has been re-secured and the knot feels a hell of a lot tighter this time, however he makes sure to stay still. Poison seems to be less effective on him and he needs to do some recon. He could try to escape right now, but Batman is known for being silent and now that Danny can no longer see it's risky. 

Who’s to say though? The tranquilizer is still in his system and he can’t seem to bring his thoughts to order.

Danny is brought out of those thoughts by the sound of Robin speaking lowly.

“B still won’t tell me why he took you. I mean you’d think after nearly a decade of partnership the guy would at least inform me of whatever new technique or interrogation tactic he’s trying to use on you.”

The kidnappee feels sort of for Robin, only sort of though. Like obviously if he and Batman are having some issues, and that sucks, but he would be more sympathetic if he weren’t currently tied up.

“Years of telling me to never bring anyone back to the cave because it could reveal our identities Robin, and now he brings you back here, but forbids communication and keeps you unconscious. That’s strange, even for B-man.”

Ha. Danny gets the distinct feeling that Robin is pacing at the moment, even though he can’t hear the footsteps. 

“Not telling me his reasoning is even stranger,” Robin sighs, “I’m not his sidekick, never have been, but lately he’s been treating me like I’m just starting out. Like I haven’t been doing this for just as long as he has.”

A whoosh goes by Danny and he assumes the vigilante probably threw something. Unlike Robin he had just been starting out and would’ve killed for someone to mentor him. It seems as though they’re having some serious problems. They should’ve kidnapped Jazz instead if they wanted their partnership problems to disappear.

Oh yeah he still doesn’t know why Batman kidnapped him either.

“By the time that tranquilizer is out of your system I better have some answers. If I don’t, well B may not be the best at communication, but Agent A could probably help me at least get to listen. He likes logic…”

The vigilante got quieter as the statement continued so he was most likely leaving Danny alone. Unless Batman or this mysterious Agent A was hiding in the cave without Robin realizing, which the halfa seriously doubts.

Kidnappee Turned Therapist pt 1

Danny is tired. He doesn't know where he is, where he's going, frankly he has doubts he's still alive. Half-alive? whatever.

The fact is Danny is in a dark cave, or at least he thinks it has to be with the sound of bats flapping their wings. He is tied up, gagged, blindfolded, and generally just confused.

He doesn't know how long he sits there until someone rips off his blindfold. The person is a bit taller than him, although its hard to tell as Danny is sitting down, and the figure is wearing bright colors that contrast with the irritated expression dawning his face.

The halfa is quickly drawn out of his thoughts by the bark of, "Robin" behind him.

"What," Robin (as in Batman and Robin, as in the famous vigilante duo Danny, like most outsiders, had assumed was a myth), snaps back. His frame is tense, but firm.

"Hn." Batman grunts, as if that will tell Robin anything. It's quickly becomes obvious, though, that the younger vigilante got something from the noise that Danny didn't.

"I know we have protocols, but they haven't been getting us anywhere."

Batman gives him a stern look that seems to only irritate him further.

"Look, B, you found this guy at a crime scene, brought him back to the CAVE for some batforsaken reason, but now you won't even let me talk to him?"

Danny considers jumping in now, maybe making a snarky one-liner, but Robin only removed the blindfold, so he was still gagged and restrained. He could phase out of it, it isn't made of ecto-repellent, but that is his one ace up his sleeve. He isn't from Gotham, Danny has no idea what's real and what's rumored about the city's vigilantes other than they have been in the business for a lot longer than him.

He isn't stupid, and better to save his secrets for when he has a plan as opposed to impulsively failing now.

The one(?)-sided argument has progressed while Danny was lost in thought. Robin is storming out of the cave, presumably to either solo-patrol or go where ever the Dynamic Duo resides when they aren't out being vigilantes.
