Yesterday was officially the 8 month mark of me being alcohol free! 🥳🥳 I’ll be honest, it is really cool, but it is also reeeeally lonely. Most people don’t live like this and so you really have to find other things to do to relieve the stress on top of finding peace in knowing you’ll always be alone with yourself as well as your thoughts, but I am grateful to have gardening, cooking and to have writing because while quitting alcohol has been quite the success for me, in the year 2020, I’ve lost sooo many “friends.” As it turns out, they weren’t that at all. I found that I could no longer tolerate “loved ones” who were always jumping to conclusions, who were always very negative about life and lacked personal accountability and were always mad at my personal advancements as well as those who do the same.. - But hey, guess what though? I’m totally good with it. Good riddance, I say! It gives me more time with family because those are what I consider my actual friends anyway.. Sooooo, THANK YOU to those who choose to grow WITH ME. I fucking love you! This year hasn’t been easy by any means, with the fires and evacuating and then starting school and moving our homebase while in the ER! Ha! Just soooo much, but I am still so freaking grateful. I got to battle so many of my demons this year, but it’s taught me who the fuck ACTUALLY rides for me and that’s pretty fucking tight because I don’t know about y’all, but I reeeally like that shit. Anywho! Happy 8months booze free to me! Happy Friday to you!🌹✨ - - 🎨: @prettylilrenee @sublimebeautystudio 📷: @queenbeephotographyofficial - - - #MedicineMama111 #TheBestOfTimes 💫 #TheLoveInMyLife #QueenBeePhotography (at Boulder Creek, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/CI8SOQ0glaJ/?igshid=111q577sel1p0
