Your highness as an aspiring villanous costume designer i must say your look is utterly iconic. Between the gold details and the subtle red and blue motif its obvious there was immense care put into it. So if I may ask, what was the thought process behind it?
Seriously, queen spell bind is such a unique and gorgeous character design I can see her as a finale villain in a superhero show. ❤️

That being said I absolutely cannot claim all responsibility for the design as @salmonandsoup is the artist for the actual character sheet which was a definite improvement on my original drawing:
I can’t speak for the changes and polish that @salmonandsoup made (whose art you should go look at and get commissions from) but for me it was mostly about fulfilling the needs of the character.
I came up with the idea of her personality and persona first and then imagined the costume around that. She’s a bombastic, flirtatious villain so her design is loud with contrasting colours and exposed skin. The ‘Queendom’ is central with the big gold crown as a focal point which then is translated with spikes and other bits of jewellery across the costume emphasising this idea of royalty.
Her giant cape and wild hair gives her a big silhouette to appear powerful and grandiose with the costume going between the idea of this warrior or Conquerer she wants to appear as through the armoured sections vs the more show-offish or cheesy elements of spandex in typical superhero costumes. The tattoos were just a fun glowy way to show her magical powers.
I took influence from a whole bunch of characters: Scarlet Witch, Emma Frost, Absolute Wonder Woman, Malice from Marvel rivals, a bit of power girl and then I stole the chain mail thing from one of Chappell Roan’s outfits :3
The main thought process I guess for making my the design was to have a costume that would suit the needs of the character<33 the best designs are meant to tell you about the character after all.
That and also a whole lot of self indulgence if I’m being honest in what type of women I find hot
