she was tired. this mission had been rather short-- three weeks of sneaking around and listening for any information kingsman needed, then a silent, unseen assassination, but she was tired. three weeks of barely sleeping or eating, and she knew she looked worn and thin (or at least thinner than she usually was), and she only wished for a long shower, a quick visit at the infirmary for the cut underneath her eye (she had stitched it like she could, but it couldn't hurt to be looked after) and the two broken fingers in her right hand. but first, she had a debriefing to do, and merlin (that fucking ass, how could he be so damn mysterious all the time ?) had just smirked and said arthur's position had been filled in while she was in fucking yemen.
so here she was, standing in front of the majestic double doors that led to her debriefing. she was still in her sand-colored suit, far from her usual clothing that involved pencil skirts, high heels, waistcoatsand emerald-colored ties, blood on her cheek and her fingers a nasty black-blue. she knew she left a trail of sand and dust behind her, but she didn't care-- she just wanted sleep. "i hope you have a very good reason to pull me into debrief before i could even get my hand looked at. if i lose my fingers, i'll bl--" her tirade halted as soon as she saw who it was in the tall chair. fuck. "... harry ?"
