Happy New Year’s Eve! 🎉 To begin 2023 out on the right path, I’ve decided to head west in a few weeks to meet many of my nomadic friends in 🌵 Arizona. 🚐💨 I’m excited, but also nervous due to some social anxiety. Most of my anxiety occurs in anticipation of meeting people (like now and on my roadtrip), and for a short period of time when I first meet people or attend a gathering. (I hide it well.) Then, I get WILD and CRAZY! 😜😂 Seriously though, I become my normal, trippy self. I’ll be meeting a friend in Texas, Lindy's Weekend She Shed, to caravan with her… I’m incredibly thankful for her generosity! I’m taking Steve Warden’s wise advice to “Do the thing on your list that you're least comfortable doing, or choosing. Broaden your experiences and live it up!” Thanks Steve! Then, I’ll do some sightseeing on my way back to Orlando, where I’ll go to a few more Disney parks 🏰, and meetup with some old and new friends before driving back to Georgia. After that, maybe a new fur baby… 🐶🐾🐱? Thanks to everyone who gave me the support and advice (and laughs) that I needed to arrive at this decision! ❤️ Let’s make 2023 an incredible year! Moonrise Timelapse - April 2022 I set up my Nikon D7100 to take timelapse images as the moon rose over the desert mountains in Quartzsite, Arizona. The first three images were taken with my D900, then there are links to two videos. The only difference between the two videos is that in the first video I processed the stills to remove the lens flare. Since I was taking an image every fifteen seconds and it took a little over an hour for the moon to rise out of frame, that means I edited around 250 images to get this flare-free video: Quartzsite_Moonrise_Over_Mountain After I showed my wife, Kathy, the video, she said that she actually liked the unedited video better.
