We did a thing! This year I decided I want to dedicate my work going forward to creating more space for visibility, hearing more of our elders stories and showcasing the true value of those histories. . I sat down with my auntie and cultural icon Tacko Cissokho, who i was first introduced to through @kowteffafricandance after having met her brother Kissima and being completely entranced with the spirit he brought to the dance floor.
