𝙋𝙐𝙈𝘽𝘼𝘼 𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝙏𝙄𝙈𝙊𝙉 — First artwork for #sixfanarts challenge. I had posted a Story a little while ago asking for suggestions of characters to make fanart of. Many suggestions came (thanks to everyone) and I've picked six out of those. Timon and Pumbaa from "The Lion King" was a suggestion, I was initially planning to draw Timon only but then I decided to do both of them. This is from the beginning of the "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" scene in the movie. Oh, and to me, "The Lion King" is the 1994 movie only. As much as I respect Jon Favreau (he did make the first MCU movie after all!) and as much as a fantastic technical achievement the 2019 remake is, I feel the original one is way better because all the characters have so much 'life' and 'character' to them, if you get what I mean! There are several Tiktok videos where they show a hilarious accident followed by a group of people dancing with a coffin, set to the song "Astronomia" by Tony Igy & Vicetone. Apparently the funeral dance / coffin dance is a recent trend in Ghana where they don't want to make a funeral a sad occasion. I drew the dancing pallbearers, the drawing was done with @ns1pen on an A6 sketchbook.
