In this border Camassia leichtlinii subsp. leichtlinii (Californian white-flowered quamash, large camas) flower spikes are forming the repeated vertical between the mounds of new foliage of the herbaceous perennials. These Camassia are tolerant, long-lived bulbs, ideal for sun or a lightly shaded location and can be naturalised in meadows.
