14 weeks to go until departure, and time will fly! Gonna book train tickets from Edinburgh to Harrogate (thru York) and then London to Edinburgh... and still need to finalize our 8 day drive thru the Highlands, but that should go pretty quickly!  THEN, focusing on England... Here are my top 5 whisky choices thus far (still way more research to come!): 1) Glenrothes 12 yr 2) Balvenie 14 yr Carribean cask 3) MacCallan 12 yr triple cask 4) Balvenie 12 yr Doublewood 5) Oban 14 yr / Aberlour 12 yr double cask (tie)

I certainly enjoy the Speyside malts more than the peaty/smoky island ones... the Oban is about as far as I can go and still enjoy, at this point.
