TURTLE DIARY (1985) 30 x 40" (76 x 102 cm.) quad poster, UK. Glenda Jackson, Ben Kingsley, dir: John Irvin. Despite all of his varied involvements in pop culture, Andy Warhol, in his entire career, only created two theatrical movie posters -- one was for the German premiere of Fassbinder's Querelle (1982), and this poster. This placid image, with its bright colors, is such a piece of Warholiana, and a really great example of Warhol's late style.
