I got tired of using the rentals for lessons. It’s also been years since I had my own ice skates. I used to hate ice skating as a child because of how insecure and irrationally ashamed I felt about myself (self-doubt development was already well underway by then), but now, over a decade later, I’ve come to enjoy it in a way that I haven’t enjoyed anything else in a very long time.
T-Minus less than a week until my JET Program interview.
I am quietly freaking out as I’m filling out my paperwork. ;_;
Went to my local ice rink again with my friend. We saw a couple of people cosplaying, but at first we weren’t sure who they were cosplaying as. One looked like a street-fashion Jean Kirschtein with pale brown hair laying over dark brown hair, and the other had black hair with made-up circles under their eyes, so I thought the second person was Levi.Â
When I worked up the courage to ask, they said no; they were actually cosplaying Sangwoo and Yoonbum from Killing Stalking.Â
After the public skate closed, the person cosplaying Sangwoo (Jean-lookalike for those who don’t know/don’t want to know KS) came up to me and asked if I knew Yuri on Ice. I said I did, and they said if I came around enough, I might just get to see them cosplay as Viktor Nikiforov.
Sometimes living here isn’t so bad. XDÂ
I need to find a better paying job so I can pamper myself with pizza and spa/salon treatments.Â

Some good news for today: I won my first ever eBay bid. Got a hard to find item in excellent condition for only $20. Yay!
