The way Katsuki dealt with being quirkless, did you see that? IMO that should have happened in canon for izuku :. 1. Show some feelings even subtle that he's devastated 2. After much reflecting on it decides he's going to be a hero with support gear (his own effort and resolve) 3. Then as a bonus the fan theory that we had back then could have happened: he gets ofa back from Katsuki due to the bond between the two+ heros rising thing (or not. This part wasn't really necessary but 1 And 2 are)
