Beginnings in programming
When I started programming back in the 90s, I started by learning BASIC, the first IDE I used was QuickBASIC 4.5 for DOS. I decided today to go looking around the internet, and believe it or not, there are still websites dedicated to QuickBASIC. I ran one of these sites at b45.com, and it is still being maintained today by another group. I still can't believe that this is still around online. I have even seen other pages around, which is just amazing! some people just love nostalgia I guess.
I have since moved on from BASIC, but still remember my roots. I think that this was the easiest language to learn back in the 90s, but there are so many languages now like Swift that make learning programming a breeze.
