If it were just a debate on if the design was the same or not obviously they’re different enough. But when you add the design with the story and it being made by someone who has admitted to wanting to be Miorjah…I don’t blame Fox for not wanting them to remake the design.

The issue with making your name the same as your character's is exhibited right here. Wanting to be popular like the person isn't the same as stealing a full character. How is their story the same to begin with? One is a lesbian and the other is a glorified sex doll, incel fantasy. Given what I've seen I don't think Beau could physically steal Miorjah's story with their trigger being all of Miorjah's story as a character. Unicorn princess isn't a story by the way. It's a trope.

A sun themed unicorn already is different from the character Miorjah. Who, mind you is just a fetishized version of Lady Amalthea from the animated version of The Last Unicorn. Any time I have seen art of the character posted anywhere she is always mistaken as an furry version of Lady Amalthea. Rankin/Bass wants their design back by the way.

Princessfurs will always move the goal post with claims as I've noticed while digging into this. I could write an essay on the social pariahhood of Beau whenever anything involving them is mentioned. Suddenly all sense and reasoning goes out the window because "Beau bad!"

I do blame Fox for being upset about the design. It's not being taken. No one is taking it away from them. They own it. They don't get to tell someone what to do with a character they don't own. Beau didn't give them the story from my understanding. Miorjah took the existing story Beau had for the character. Stole the entirety of the character and made revenge rape porn to trigger Beau with.

The character isn't the design. I don't know how hard that is for you to grasp.

Get a grip on reality and if you have to replace Beau in this story with someone you like and then see if you still think this shit is okay. Otherwise you're all so fucking stupid it makes my head hurt.

These representations have meaning and effect people. Telling Fox to not use someone else's culture as a costume isn't wrong. Fox can design their own sona without buying art that is batardising a belief system.

I want to circle back to the original point with Fox. I do not like or appreciate them crashing out for their racism being pointed out and claiming that doing so is anti indigenous. You don't get to be racist towards black people. Being native does not give you the right to speak over someone speaking on black issues. If you aren't black shut up and listen. It's not hard.

Now I hear the Luna blog has a sudden chinese anon attempting to speak over the points of antiblackness in this fandom. I'm getting tired of them trying to derail my points of racism being a problem and dehumanizing the victim of racism is bad. It's extremely racist. Anyone can be racist towards black people. Colorism is also a problem in bipoc spaces. Princessfurs are not safe to be around if you aren't white or used as a token bipoc friend to excuse other racism.

When I say you did something harmful to black people and you respond with accusing me of attacking an indigenous person you are trying to shield yourself from being accountable for being racist. First off; making a cis design trans is ok. Making a trans design cis is not

Secondly; making a white design indigenous is ok, making an indigenous design white is not ok

Why is it ok when you replace “white” with Japanese? Fox is taking away much needed representation from people instead of making something new for themselves.

If you took a Navajo inspired character in their traditional and religious regalia and then said they were going to be Japanese only that doesnt change the fact they are wearing Navajo clothes. The race of the design in question is baked into the design itself. It would be the same as seeing a character with dreadlocks and going “oh I like that” and then saying that they’re no longer black they’re white actually.

If Fox saw a random design of say a white unicorn with no specific attachment to any race or culture and wanted to identify with it that would be perfectly fine. What isn’t fine is Fox seeing a design that is explicitly Japanese in Japanese religious regalia and going “this shit is indigenous actually lol”. Like no it isn’t. You can’t divorce something from its origin just cause you want to.

I see a pacific islander design with significant iconography and call it siberian.

I said before the root of the design is drenched in japanese spiritual regalia and tied to ainu people. It cannot be divorced from that fact. The mask, the head gear, the coloration and symbology is rooted in japanese origin with japanese spiritual practices being used.

I never said Fox made the design. I said it would be better if Fox made their own design instead of claiming one based on another culture isn't it's culture. Not shocked by princessfurs lacking basic logic skills.
