NO RINGS FOR YOU!
I WANT TO SAY, I AM NOT BEING PAID FOR THIS ... THIS POST IS REALLY JUST ME VENTING ABOUT AN ISSUE AND PUTTING OUT THERE THE SOLUTION I FOUND.
So ... Iβve seen the silicone rings advertised for a while now, and I have been intrigued by their look, their claims that itβs breathable, safer, modern .... yada, yada, yada. Β
With all that Iβve seen and read ... I expected it to be FAR less Gender Bias ... because the companies claim to be cool and hip and modern ...
Ah, yeah ... NO!
First I went to ENSORINGSΒ ... they were the first Iβd heard of and thought Iβd give them a chance.
Not ONE of theΒ βMenβsβ rings came in anything but the typical βmetalβ colors or bland colors ... apparently, Men donβt want anything but Black, Brown or Camo Green.Β
The only colored ones were forΒ βWomenβ ... and those only went up to a certain size ... as if Women never have large fingers. Β (I take a 12 and I know plenty of ladies that have fingers as large or larger than mine).
Even their Stackable Rings ... that they say isΒ βFor Any Sizeβ ... only go to like 9, because, again, Men apparently donβt have any fashion sense or ... should be fashionable period.
Then ... I went to GROOVE LIFE ... it was the same damn thing as Ensorings, but somehow even MORE insulting.Β
The Menβs rings had interesting color ... BUT ONLY ON THE INSIDE! Β Clearly, they only want to cater to the Snowflake Men who must hide any color at all costs so others only see them as Bad Asses. Β (Hint Groove Life ... a Bad Ass Butch Guy doesnβt give a ratβs ass what otherβs think of them ... they do and wear what they want. Β Same goes forΒ βReal Women.β)
Again, all the Colored Rings were for Women. Β
FINALLY ... I tried QALO ... AND I FOUND PARADISE!
Not only did they have colored rings in my size ... but one can CUSTOMIZE THEM!! Β Β You can engrave them on the inside ... and/or the outside ... and you can even customize the outside texture!!
PLUS AS A BONUS ... THEY WERE THE MOST REASONABLY PRICED! Β Β
(Did they have certain styles there werenβt available in all colors? Β Sure. Β But even those still came in more color choices than the other companies ... I might get a teal colored ring ...)
So, I finally was able to order a size 12, silicone ring in PURPLE (my fav color)! Β And I will do a review of it after it arrives and Iβve worn a few days!
