Can't wait for jcminwell's manga/anime comparison for the last episode. Maybe my Kirisaki Daiichi goggles are too thick, but I think it was a bit overdramatic. Touou had more comment time on how awesome Seirin is and then - to complete Kuroko's personal cheering squad - Kaijou is watching the game too. (Also, why is Kise greeting Aomine, when he's still brooding over his loss?) The major changes for me are, aside from Hyuga's failed intervention, Kiyoshi saying that the Seirin members get "broken" and "injured" by oppenents like Teiko and Hanamiya, rather than being "threatened" by them - or was the manga translation off an that one? Furthermore Hanamiya's attempted threat toward Kiyoshi, which didn't work. While it fits Hanamiya's character or Kirisaki in general to thread/annoy people to make them lose their cool, Hanamiya doesn't use such direct words to the person in question. He rather talks about crushing Hyuga to Kiyoshi, just to fuck with him. The other change is Furuhashi elbowing Kiyoshi in the head with his right arm. It was his left in the manga, and I like to think Kirisaki's attempts to do major damage are well orchestrated; therefore Furuhashi'd be more likely to do that with his non-dominant arm/hand. In case he misses and hits the floor, at least he doesn't break the more important arm. I can't help but congratulate them to their genius dirty tactics. Another thing irking me: there's at least one photographer right behind the goal, who is very likely to take pictures of the fouls. How come no one ever blackmailed Kirisaki with actual evidence? Hanamiya basically told Hyuga - and most likely other teams too - to get evidence first and accuse him then, but no team ever asked one of the photographers for evidence? Hanamiya is a bit like the perverted version of Murasakibara in terms of showing others the unfairness of basketball. He simply adds more unfair to the game.
