A web forum? You could say “that stuff is old news dawg”, but I will tell you it was a big deal to me and i still love the simplicity.
I was new to web development in Python, I had practicalized with Tornado Framework, not Django(It looks too ready-made). I then thought I could build a forum, it is similar to a blog(i mean database stuffs like POST, POSTS and COMMENTS) but I wanted something simple then I remembered the Nigeria’s most popular forum -> Nairaland.com, and i said to myself “i could do something like that (maybe less shitty)”

Started with it, made lots of errors and after 2 weeks of not cut ‘n paste, I’d developed a web application running on Werkzeug(Deutscher understand this).
What I learnt from this:

Gunicorn
