Even though Jaune was still collecting his barings, trying to piece together what had exactly transpired before he got here (if this world even had a connection to the fact that he fell, if the others who had slipped through his fingers were really here, too), that hadn't yet snuffed out his determination to get to the bottom of things-- carefully treading through Spirale as if exploring a world uncharted. It wasn't Remnant by any means, but.. it still managed to render him speechless despite that; the buildings brimming with unknown history, the masses that had gathered here, filling him with a sense of wonder he hadn't felt in a very long time.
It felt almost.. selfish, or wrong, to find enjoyment in what he was doing-- the reprieve this place gave him was welcome, but he and the others had left so much behind back on their world. People who needed them. Enemies who needed to be stopped, before they hurt anyone else.. but despite that, the Huntsman found himself drawn to a particular area as he wandered further; a path of bright red flowers catching his eye and beckoning him forward.
He walked down the path they led him through, stopping every so often to kneel down on the ground to look at them better. A gentle hand caressed their petals, dancing against his palms by the pull of a quiet breeze as a fond smile eventually found its way to Jaune's features; having to force himself back to his feet to make sure he carried on. If not, he felt like he could have gotten lost in their sights forever; the colours reminding him of someone important, that he still longed to see, despite how much time had gone by since he'd lost her.
He'd never been here before, but for some reason, it felt right for him to be. Like it was.. his destiny, or something. And as he made his way to the end of the path, his eyes lifting just in time to realize he wasn't alone here.. Jaune immediately realized why.
.. but, it.. couldn't be. Of course, he was.. thinking of her, from the moment those flowers pulled him in. His hand was resting at his hip as he walked, pressing against her sash-- the one piece of her that hadn't been taken away from him yet. Was missing her again, just.. getting to him? Was that why he was seeing her now? Her back, facing him; as her eyes trained to something over the cliff, not yet even realizing he was there, too.
.. or was she.. could she really be..--
".. Pyrrha..?"
