ugh, he really needs to start doing background checks on clients before just accepting anyone... but that’d be so boring. some of them though, honestly, leave him wondering if the extra bit of fun and thicker wallet really makes it worth it. half naked but unashamed, he does need to warm up a bit before calling a taxi to head home. and the fortunate thing about the dingier side of the island is the fact that there are people likely even more desperate for warmth.
lanque doesn’t feel any less obligated to come to the flaming garbage can just because someone else is standing in front of it. if anything, who knows? it might be more interesting. “ got any weed on you? ” he throws out, nonchalantly as if willow was someone he already knew. lanque puts his hands over the fire and occasionally rubs them on his bare chest.
