 No worries, I figured you meant Sims 2! ^_^ (it’s the only game I play so I wouldn’t be much help to a TS3 or TS4 player anyway, haha!) 

The skies and horizons are cc and I honestly couldn’t imagine my game without them! I’ve gotten wcifs about skydomes before, and they’re all neatly sorted under my WCIF Skydome tag (yes, skydomes are so awesome that they deserve their own tag!), but I’ll list them again (and add a few new ones that cropped up in the meantime and that I hadn’t linked to previously!) :)

(*NOTE: Before you go on a skydome downloading spree, you need to get Simnopke’s Skyfix mod! Without it, your hood skydomes will look like floating sky-colored slabs rather than proper skies!)

Got the Skyfix? Great! Now on to the skydomes: 

@lowedeus‘ Great Sky of Totalitarianism (a.k.a THE skydome! Contains both lot and hood versions of the skydomes, both of which I recommend! In case you’re confused about how to download from the post, I wrote a comprehensive guide here)

@dramallamadingdang‘s Great Sky Project (hood skies only, made with real sky photographs and 100% stunning!)

Tulipfera’s Skyrim Neighborhood skies (hood skies only; a more fantasy flavor of the skydomes, but the upload also contains regular-looking skydomes that look very pretty!)

@freezerbunny-sims‘ Aurora Skies (lot skies only; add a gorgeous, animated Aurora Borealis effect to your lot skies!)

(*NOTE: There are also other skybox meshes available, such as  Chris997′s (recolors), Psychosim’s (recolors), Ja-viera’s (recolors), Slig’s, Nimi’s... but I prefer to use Lowedeus’ and those based on it as it’s currently the most up-to-date mesh out there. But there’s nothing stopping you from trying out the other skies! They’re all very pretty and worth checking out!)

Thank you so much for your kind words. Things will never be the same, but I at least try to continue the spirit of the projects and get them to completion. After that and then data loss where I lost a bunch of working files and have been rebuilding them it’s been a little slow. But encouraging words like this from you, and from many other simmers that have reached out to me, are uplifting.
