From their PYK EP, Icelandic duo Young Karin deliver their new single ‘Bones’ with cool, calm precision.
The fluttering horns that introduce ‘Bones’ make way for icy Nordic pop synths and intergalactic ripples, along with the RnB-esque vocals of singer Karin Sveinsdóttir. The track has quite a light, shimmering atmosphere, set against the video’s gritty, mysterious landscape at odds with the usual ethereal, almost fairytale-like image we conjure up of Icelandic life. Look out for a photo of the Hot Felon meme in the intro!
