“Yeah, well, sorry to disappoint but you’re wrong,” he replies drily, but then pouts slightly as he looks at the stranger. “You aren’t gonna kick me out, are you? I swear I’ll pay the guy back… uh, later.” He asks this in a joking tone, but he’s secretly more worried than that. He didn’t pay admission to get into the art gallery, having sneaked past the sleepy guard in front of the museum rather than paying the five dollars he can’t afford to get in. As it turns out, there wasn’t much to worry about at all, because art galleries these days aren’t very popular, so nobody else was there. Sung-kyu was left to admire the art in peace – until this guy showed up, anyway. He would put more effort into being annoyed if he wasn’t so busy being excited by the paintings.
“Isn’t this one cool?” He asks, pointing at a surrealist painting of… a sink? It’s hard to tell what it is honestly, but Sung-kyu somehow finds meaning in the distorted shapes and freaky, chaotic dashes of colour. “It’s so symbolic,” he states confidently, as if he knows what he’s talking about.
