how do u know these ppl are using ai to write? their work seems fine to me. did you use an ai detector or something??
mmm good question anon because i am SO worried about accusing a writer who isn't using AI, so here's how I intend to verify whether an author uses AI or not b4 posting them to the list.
#1: I basically just use common sense. Might make you think "so how can you be sure?" but trust me, if you actually read books or write, AI is so blatant to your brain and makes trying to read uncomfortable because it just sounds like some robot jargon, which is why it pmo that y'all don't be seeing that.
I've been writing creatively since I was young and I've had formal academic training, so I have a pretty strong instinct for distinguishing human written work from AI ones. If I wanted to mimic AI, I’d deliberately use phrases or words like tantalizing, a shiver ran down my spine, husky voice, murmured, or other overly polished, yet somehow depthless phrases, because AI tends to follow patterns and interpret data from real writers, which leads to it sounding very robotic and repetetitve. REAL writing just has an uninterrupted flow.
I could yap about this forever but yeah this is my step 1.
Step 2: AI detectors' PLURAL. OBVI. And numerous types ( including humanizers to interpret whether the text is AI because humanizer can't humanize human work, it is also a mechanism trained to interpret the pattern coded within AI writing and reverse it essentially),
Step 3: I don't do this unless truly in doubt but ask an AI itself. Who knows how to discover AI writing patterns better than AI itself?
Also last thing because this is long but I wanted to be thorough in responding is as AI evolves, people become better at using it. Some authors, it's blatant, while others interweave it into their own writing very seamlessly to the point where the average, untrained eye might not see it, but these creative writing Bethany eyes see all
hope this helps poo! feel free to ask anything else.
