It’s finally time to tie the knot :) If the assembly looks a bit sparse, it’s only because some of the guests got stuck downstairs playing kicky bag and/or fetch with Taffy (who was invited, of course!).

By morning, Delilah has realised she needs some time to cool off. From Seth. From witchcraft. From Quinten, too. He should be the easiest to say good-bye to.
“I still haven’t sent any job application. I can’t find the will,” he says.
“That’s nice.”
Quinten crushes the edge of the sofa. “You’re thinking about him.”
Delilah forces a smile. “Are you a mindreader now?”
“It’s not that hard,” he mumbles.
Delilah, despite her best intentions, can feel her heart beating just that much faster. “You’re jealous.”
“I’m not!”
She escapes to place coffee cups in the sink, but stops short from washing them. Instead, she goes back to Quinten. She likes him a lot. She feels safe with him, in a way she doesn’t with Seth. He’s nice, although “nice” doesn’t explain how often she thinks of him... when she’s with Seth. “Look, Quinten --”
“I know, you love him, I’m just a fling, bladdi bladda. Don’t worry, I’m used to this. It’s been nice.”
“Wait! You’re not a fling. I mean... I don’t know where I am with Seth, or with you, and it scares me.”
“I’m fed up with being the second choice.”
“You’re not,” Delilah says. She’s not entirely lying, at least she doesn’t think so. “I don’t want to hurt you.”
“You sound like Todd.”
“If you say so.” She shrugs. Todd doesn’t seem like the type to have second thoughts. “I was going to stop this, Quinten. Stop us. It’s too hard. I don’t want to lose you. I can’t promise this will lead anywhere, but if you’d like --”
“This is idiotic. You’ll end up in Todd’s bed and make me unhappy, and I should run away as fast as I can.”
“Please, don’t.”
He doesn’t. “You’ve bewitched me.”
Delilah shushes him with a kiss. Before being a witch, she’s a woman.
Just like Seth, before being a warlock, is a man.
13. Biggs household
The two nooboos have to share one crib. There’s not enough money to buy a second crib or a changing table, which means those poor babies are smelly and grumpy. Thankfully Angela pops by and lends a helping hand!
Picture of the car because the money could’ve been kept aside to buy a crib... I really feel silly now!!!
(I know technically babies don’t need cribs; but Marla wouldn’t be happy leaving her nooboos on the floor, so they will get a crib if they can afford it.)

She knows she should feel bad for taking advantage of a man who is, practically, a widower. But it’s not like she’s the first woman he cheated with. Besides, no one else seems to mind either.

Delilah is one mean witch! HA! One has never seen such a mean witch as her!

Delilah’s a brand new student, with a not-so-brand-new crush on Mitch. He’s just plain adorable!
Sadly, not everyone is as nice as Mitch on the campus. Take Mr Top Hat, for example. He looks respectable enough, but Delilah saw him steal money from an innocent warlock!
... A warlock who seems rather interesting, actually. Delilah isn’t into witchcraft, but she’s not one to judge for one’s hobbies. And he’s cute, green glow notwithstanding. Besides, she feels bad for him. She’s going to have a chat with him, just to make sure he’s not too distraught by the robbery.
