no idea what the gay apparel discourse has been. chiming in with my own two cents. It would be more progressive for them to add more skirts (we have exactly one) and feminine* apparel that doesn't conform to Victorian modesty standards (hyperbole) than to add pride flags.
like we have had normal pants forever now. many kinds. and only one frilly nonthreatening skirt option.
* clothes are clothes but you know what I mean by this

Unpopular opinion, I know, but I kind of understand why the mods can't outright ban the big 3. I'm sure they don't love having obvious homophobes on site, but the truth is that banning users for things that aren't outright account violations sets a bad precedent.
At the end of the day, it could be argued that the only reasons for banning the big 3 are that they didn't respond in good faith to suggestions and made users uncomfortable with their personal opinions(obviously not MY thoughts, but it could easily be seen that way by people who aren't well versed in the homophobic subtext behind their words).
What's stopping users, if the big 3 were banned, for reporting anyone they wanted, including LGBTQ+ users, under the same pretense that they're making people uncomfortable with their personal opinions and the way they approach suggestions?
If I had it my way, the big 3's accounts would be nuked immediately. I'm just thinking out loud here and trying to understand the mods' decision.

Anyone trying to use lore to justify not putting an item in what is essentially a dragon customization game, NOT an RPG, is getting a big ol' side eye from me. As Mousemod said, players should not be refusing a suggestion based solely on how it would be implemented AND if players don't like a suggestion they DON'T HAVE TO SAY ANYTHING AT ALL. It's the SUGGESTION forum, not the voting forum. Devs decide how something should be added, not randos in the forums.
On another line, lol at the idea that apparel makes lore. There's cybernetic enhancements and dogs and hoop skirts. None of these things make sense to me in context of the lore but we have them and thank fuck for that.
