This might seem dumb but it's been on my mind a lot recently. I've always been really into old peavey gear (especially all of the t series guitars and basses) but a little while ago I learned that the company has a pretty shitty track record regarding how they treat their employees. Should I feel bad for the massive pile of Peavey stuff I'm currently collecting or should I separate the companies business practices from their product?
Far as I’m concerned, the better generations of PV gear were a while back- the 6505+ and XXX marking the end of my interest. You’re not funding their practices if you’re buying used.
That said, they’re an American company making an American product. Nationalism aside, you’re not paying Bugera to have Chinese sweatshop workers make crappy PV clones.
