My Pillowrimo 2025 Plans!
UPDATE 11/2/25:
Realized something important: I have 2 big TTRPGs I want to do this month, and while the game jam for Win Or Die is finished on January 1st, the other one is finished at the end of this month. So, I decided to put the other one on the front-burner, and make that my NaGaDeMon project instead.
Said project is a TTRPG fangame for The Amazing Digital Circus, a 3D webseries about humans trapped in a digital realm run by a circus ringmaster AI. This is mainly for this month's Eternal Jam, whose challenge was to make a game for a specific person, and that person is my friend Alex. In this game, become a circus denizen as they go on adventures and try to find a way to escape back to the real world.
Sorry for the shift, but hope y'all understand!

Yeah folks, it's that time of year again! Writing Challenge November! Yahoo!
For Pillowrimo 2025, I'm going to be participating in National Game Design Month (NaGaDeMon) for the first time, making a TTRPG in the "death game" genre (not the official name for that genre lol, but I'm referring to works in the vein of Squid Game, Battle Royale, etc, stories about characters trapped in games to the death). The tentative title is Win Or Die; lmk what you think of that b/c I need thoughts! Ideally, I want it to be a system for a wide swath of "death games". Battle Royale & Squid Game are two very different stories, after all.
The game will also be for the Meet Some Misfits & Make Some Mayhem Game Jam. As a challenge for myself, I want to make a few minigames in it for the Puzzle Dungeon Jam, and add elements of the Moxie Core for the Moxie Jam. We'll see if I get to do that or not.
For word count, I'm not 100% sure how long it's gonna end up tbh, but let's try for around/at least 5,000 words. I posted my progress daily (or tried to) last year on my Pillowfort, perhaps I'll do that across my social medias this year. We'll see!
What are your goals for Pillowrimo, or whichever November challenge you're taking on? I'd love to hear!
