;; it’s not often that dick finds himself sweating it out at a public gym. why would he need to, when slade built him his own private gymnasium, complete with trapeze, a week after the man brought him home from the circus.

.at this point in his life, training isn’t a necessity. he’s a flying grayson, through and through, it’s in his BLOOD. but it’s for this very reason that dick continues. he doesn’t want to loose the only piece of his parent’s he has LEFT.

.he tries to spend at least an hour every day practising at home, but occasionally wintergreen will convince (blackmail) him to leave the house. to go out and...ugh...SOCIALISE.

.as much as dick loves talking, and slade loves constantly reminding him of that, people themselves aren’t really his thing. so it becomes a personal challenge, moving his routine to a public gym. to surround himself by people he doesn’t know, to co-exist.

in case anybody is wondering, this is how @puurfiism deals with it when people try to let them know what they’re doing is wrong.
