I knew exactly what I wanted to create when I got this assignment. I've been itching to draw a movie poster and have always found the Labyrinth poster exectionally beautiful with the beautiful designs by Brian Froud.

Ted Coconis is the artist behind the original Labyrinth poster. He works primary with acrylic paints, which surprised me because his work feels like watercolors. You can check out his work here.

Huge shout out to the blog Film on Paper. Because of their amazing high resolution photos of the poster I was able to recreate mine to such accuracy. Please check them out!!
