OP straight up says that men do not love women, that they only want to “own and possess them” and “have them in [their] emotional and physical and sexual service for the sake of [their] own gratification.” Which is a pretty damning thing to tell straight women in relationships with abusive men! If all men are awful objectifying assholes, then those women are faced with the choice of (1) staying in an abusive relationship, or (2) leaving, and never having a fulfilling romantic relationship ever (because why bothering trying if all men are just as bad?).

ok first things first. i dont even want to like him so much. hell i never even THOUGHT that he’ll give me so much emotion fuck him. i mean he is - even in gsc - the cruelest, hateful, power-obsessed trainer whose head only thinks of winning. as a kid playing gsc all i wanted was to beat him esp after he berates me for falling in a hole in the burned tower smh.

but then i played soulsilver and looked into his character more as an adult and i just……shit shit shit shit shit shit

the best thing i like about silver is his character development like holy shit. he goes from this nasty kid who degrades and blatantly berates people and his own pokemon to someone who willingly wants to learn acceptance and love his pokemon more. i mean sure he still wants to be strong. but instead of out of anger and vengeance, he wants to be strong in a way how the hgss protag did; kindness and belief in your team.  

idk maybe its just me for liking such a hateful rival of them all lmao. but maaaan oh MAN i really love the reason for all his spiteful personality. dude was abandoned by his dad; maybe the only person whom he saw as a beacon of hope and strength. and what happened when gio left him because he lost against red? he fucking left. he fucking left without giving a single glance to the only son who believed in him. thus the birth of such a spiteful, albeit pitiful attitude.

silver was sososo in denial at first when you beat him. and he was even in a more pissed off state to know that the protag beat team rocket, the organization that basically destroyed their father-son relationship. the protag. and not him. the fact that the protag was getting stronger that they can defeat a powerful organization only felt like rubbing salt to his wounds.  

then after lance’s lecture for how he treated his pokemon, silver gained a sense of realization. it was a huge slap to the face but it worked. and when the protag was able to defeat him in victory road, that realization only stuck harder for him that he felt like changing his ways; a slow sense of acceptance and maturity if you ask me.

then at the battle in mt moon, instead of degrading like he used to, his maturity shows by acknowledging that his pokemon are getting better despite their lost. hell he even acknowledged the protag and gave the protag a reminder to rest up in the postgame i just.

and lets no forget that silver still holds his snarky, ‘ew-no-fuck-you’ attitude when he mocked claire’s fashion sense so openly and even degraded lance when lance suggested a double battle. and HOLY SHIT silver even bravely suggested to pair up with the protag instead because he trusted with his abilities more when he’s with the protag and also in this way it shows that silver trusted the protag too im gonna cry.

AND LETS NOT FORGET HE EVEN WANTS TO RETURN THE POKEMON HE STOLE EVENTHO I KNOW IT HURTS HIM ON THE INSIDE TO DO THAT. IMAGINE THAT LIL SHIT SMILING TO A POINT OF CRYING MAYBE TO KNOW THAT HIS STARTER DIDN’T WANT TO LEAVE HIM AND HEARING ELM SAYING THAT SAID STARTER TRUSTS AND LOVES HIM OMFGMF.

dude when from shitty stubborn to a mature kid who sees the wrong in his ways. he’s not a whiny bitch that didn’t learn shit during his journeys. he learned a lot. it took some time and sense in his brain but he actually learned a lot and tried his best to change his ways. he still wants to become Champion and even the strongest trainer ever. but this time he wants to be that with the help of his pokemon who had loved and stuck by his side even when he was at his worst.

silver not only became mature, level-headed, reasonable, and calm in the postgame. but he goes from this lonely brat who didn’t believe in love and trust to a dear child who has friends and pokemon who love him and cheer for him and becomes his sole reminder that he’s truly not alone.

Medichamite: Maybe Sound? There are enough sound-based Pokémon for it to work. We’ve got Meloetta, the Whismur line, the Jigglypuff line… It could work. I’d like to see it. (though im sure people would complain about yu-gi-oh! doing it first)

Sablenite: A Geodude in Pokémon Sapphire. I was probably six or seven, so I didn’t know that Shinies were a thing. I only realized seven years later, when I picked up my game and started checking out my Pokémon and came across an orange rock.

Mewtwonite Y: The characters! I absolutely adore most of them, simply because they’re so fleshed out and complex! Even the ones that don’t have much of a backstory are interesting, because you can take what little info you have and make your own story for them! And of course, a lot of them are very cute. So that helps.

Houndoomite: Team Flare kinda took the “money, fabulousness, and merciless genocide of all who disagree” plan from me… Hmm. I think I’ll have to come back to this one later, after I’ve gotten some sleep.

EDIT: Take over the League and assume control of the region through its central government. I don't know why, but I would.
