At Purses for Nurses, we want to be the heroes that do all three. That’s why the last of our three pillars is SUSTAINABILITY. It’s a buzz word that’s thrown around a lot nowadays, but to us, it’s something we promote for both the environment and our projects. Through purse donations from people like you, we turn “throw-away” items into treasure. We keep handbags out of landfills and sell them to benefit people worldwide. We also use recycled boxes for shipments and recycled paper for our marketing materials, preventing paper, the most frequently wasted product, from being thrown into landfills. We also try to have a sustainable effect on the countries we visit abroad. We not only come in and provide medical care when we’re there, but try to also educate and help improve lives once we’re gone. We use sustainability to help both the planet and the people that inhabit it! 

At Purses for Nurses, we try to exemplify our three pillars in everything we do. The first of our three pillars is COMMUNITY. We try to be active in our community both locally and globally. Locally, we collaborate with small businesses, artists, and bloggers and take part in networking groups and events to help support charitable causes. Globally, we immerse ourselves in cultures around the world in order to build trust and caring between patient and caregiver. We try to unite with different groups, both locally and abroad, uniting caring and community. 

Here at Purses for Nurses, we believe that everybody has a right to healthcare, no matter their lifestyle, location, or ability to pay. Using proceeds from the sale of donated purses from brands such as Coach and Longchamp, we send nurses where they’re most needed to provide healthcare, education, and most importantly, hope and health.
