So Chevrolet is doing this thing, Purple Your Profile, on twitter and facebook for the American Cancer Society. Apparently it donates $1 for per profile I think. I participated in both and have changed my twitter and facebook profile picture. A few years ago I lost an aunt to cancer, we weren't close or anything, but I still knew her and she was close to my big sister. A couple years ago my grandma was diagnosed with cancer. Se got treated, hated every second of it, but ultimately beat it. A year later though she was diagnosed with a different type of cancer. In my family there is like 10 of us who know about my grandma's cancer, because she doesn't want people to know. She doesn't want people who haven't reached out to her before to reach out to her now. I'm close to my grandma and I've mentioned her in a few of my blogs before, she's my light. The other she told me she doesn't know if it's cause she loves me so much, but every time she sees me in my car she thinks the car is so cute & that I just look like the cutest thing in it, like we were made for each other. (the car & I lol) I shared the thing and I don't think anyone really knows why unless they're close to me. This thing with my grandma isn't something I really talk about, because every time I do I start crying, I can't even think about it without crying. The people who do know, don't wanna talk about it & at the same time I don't know if I really have anything to say, but that I'm scared. I'm scared to lose my grandma to this. I have three friends whose moms have cancer and the pastors wife from the church my parents go to had cancer and thankfully won her fight. Ireally want to do things to help these people who have this & I'm gonna find ways to volunteer or something. & every time I can support this cause I will for my tia, my grandma, my friends moms, the pastors wife, all the other people in the world who battle this, and all families and loved one of the people who go through this.
