Have to be stealthy. Or at least stay away from all the fighting until Joel clears the threat. She never got the chance to really do anything, at least with Joel and Tess around. Meanwhile, the clickers are creepy as fuck. As much as she wanted to help, Ellie knew that the two of them would disprove of her attempts to fight. If only she had a fucking gun, then maybe she would be of a bit more help.
Since Ellie didn't have any idea how long Joel was going to take dealing with those infected below, Ellie decided to just chill for a moment, not being as tense as she was a few moments ago, but still being quiet enough to not be heard, getting somewhat bored already. Sure, she was likely to get scolded, but if the adults are supposed to do the fighting, then she might as well not give a fuck.
