#purdue 2020

Studying/doing homework/lab reports at home today! My last normal exam is tomorrow at 12:30 and my final for the summer course is next Friday so wish me luck 😅

Despite my first day back being kinda shit, I’m hopeful for this semester. My depressions trying hard to make it seem useless but I’m pushing through, I let myself fuck up too much in the past to not. So three cheers to junior year, please be kind

It’s been a rough week tbh. I started my main job on Monday and I start my second job on Saturday. It’s going to be tough working two jobs but I’m going to get 20-30 hours at my main job and probably 10-15 at my second a week, and I need to to start saving money. My main job is something I can do remotely as well so when I go back to school I can bring it with me (all it takes is a work computer), so I’ll still be able to do that. I’m planning on keeping my job on campus too when I get back, and rn my schedule for the fall is 17 hours. AND I need to start getting animal/vet experience so my friend and I are planning on (hopefully) volunteering at a shelter a few minutes off campus when we have time. AAAAANNNDDD I want to be more active on campus so I might try to join the pre-vet club or something. So I guess we’ll see how that goes... Hopefully I’m not already spreading myself too thin. I probably am. Fuck. Oh well.

It was rough honestly, especially with all that happened with Tyler. Finals could’ve gone better, that’s for damn sure. BUT, that just gives me a strategy for next semester. I got into the classes I wanted, pretty much a continuation of the classes I took this semester plus a couple pre-vet courses. All in all, I’m pretty excited. It’s going to be a lot of work, but it’s going to be worth it. 

My math placement test put me lower than I would've liked and I didn't have enough time to go over material and retake the test before my registration, but I have until school starts to keep taking it and hopefully I'll get into the math I want. Otherwise I have 7:30 am math classes three times a week 😓 if I can't it'll be fine, but fingers crossed. I placed into second year Spanish, as well! The test for that was mostly reading comprehension so hopefully I didn't over place myself. I find out next Friday where Adrienne (my roommate) and I are living too😝 I'm so excited, everything's finally becoming real!

Sorry I haven't been posting here much, I kind of forgot about this tumblr. So much has been going on in my life it's crazy!! I graduated (and they didn't actually hand me a paper saying "haha just kidding" like I was expecting), my grad party is this Sunday, and the day after I'm going to register for my classes this fall at Purdue!!! And next month on the 15th, Adrienne (my roommate) and I find out where we're living, and Tyler and I's two month anniversary is on the 11th. Oh man so much is going on and I'm so excited. Anyway I'm going to become a lot more active on this blog, hopefully. So, how are things going in your lives?? Talk to me!
