I LOVE HIM HE'S MY HUSBAND WE'RE GONNA GET MARRIED. OHOHOHO but no seriously, I think he had a lot of potential as a character that... went mostly unnoticed. I always found his personality charming and likable, and OMG HE GAVE ME AN ANUBIS PUPPY AAAHHHHH INSTANTLY BEST CHARACTER. The references to aura with his character (i.e. mentioning the protag's aura in battle, his glowing hands, etc.) also really intrigue me, and I feel like they could have been expounded on somehow. He's also kind of hot and has a classy hat um.
ME/RILEY 4EVER. sdjfkjdslkfjkd BUT NO, um... Again, I'm gonna play the "I SHIP EVERYTHING" card. But I do like seeing him with Steven, and I've read a few fanfics pairing him with Cheryl, which I... really like too for some odd reason sdjfkdsjflkd.
Riley/Protag (I don't mind seeing them as a romantic pair, but I prefer them as friends, I think), Riley/ALL THE STEEL EXPERTS. I also love seeing fanwork portraying possible familial connections between him and Sir Aaron (because it's very obvious they're related somehow, but I don't think an actual explanation is ever specified). Does that count?
Erm... I wish he had a bigger role in DPPt's plotline and was fleshed out more as a character? I know this probably would have been difficult to do, but I just wish we could learn more about him. :c But hey, I guess we always have fanfiction for that.
Again, I wish he had a bigger part in the plotline of DPPt. Also, I would have liked to see some sort of canon hint at his connection to Sir Aaron (No seriously was Aaron his ancestor or is Riley a reincarnation? THE WORLD MAY NEVER KNOW).
