During what was almost a great repeat of a tragedy in Hellsalem’s Lot (once New York), Klaus faced a very powerful Beyondian called the King of Despair. With a great deal of destruction around them, the battle did not last very long, considering the King of Despair had the power of a god. Klaus was willing to fight to his last breath, ending up covered in blood and breathless, trapped underneath some rubble. He was certain to die if not saved by a colleague.

((I think she’d force herself to be less irritable than most people are when behind on sleep, at least while on the job. However with both professions she’s worked as, it’s a bad mix when combined with no sleep

((Surgery (especially the dramatized Trauma Center kind) requires sharp reflexes, and trying to make deductions on a case while tired can’t be fun
