haha i've been asked this before.
basically it comes down to a few different things. i do a lot of promos, i talk to people, i try to be really nice to everyone!
it took me over 4 years to get my first thousand though haha. basically i think things that a lot of people look for if they're gonna follow someone starts with the url. if a person has a bad url i'm probably not even going to look at their blog. especially if it doesn't have to do with any fandom i'm in. then theme comes into play. a good theme is not hard to find or use. if someone has a bad theme i don't usually follow them tbh. another thing is sticking to one specific kind of blog. i know it's preferable to reblog whatever you want, but if you want followers you kind of have to stick to a certain theme.Â
idk i try to do all of that stuff and those are the things i look for when i follow people!! but it took me forever to get this many haha so i'm probably not an expert!

oh also I had this reoccurring dream about going to a Green Day concert and none of the actual members were in it but I knew in my dream I was going to a Green Day concert but I kept getting stuck in an IHOP???? I never made it to the concert in any of my dreams cause I was always late.
