my family vacation: a summary
christmas was spent by my siblings and I trying to explain to our parents (mostly my dad) that sexism is still an issue today and that rape culture is most definitely a thing and a massive problem
my sister is so condescending and irritating like she continues to make fun of me for having tumblr friends. anytime my parents asked what I was doing and i'd say talking to my friends, my sister would look over and see i was talking to tumblr friends and start laughing at me. she also uses textposts in regular conversation and as facebook statuses and brags about how many likes it got like just shUT UP ALREADY and at a weezer concert shes like "okay kai be super careful bc it gets soooOoO rowdy like dont get scared" like no ive been to concerts before and that pisses me off bc she gets protective like an older sister should but she only does it so she can look older and better and "more responsible" than me not so she can actually be a good sister ugh
my brother is like the only person in my family i actually get along with but in the supermarket he asked me about pll he was like "yeah i heard the teacher guy was A?" and that was super awkward bc i was like ???? what do you want from me? are you actually interested? do you actually want to know how I feel? why did you bring this up? what are you hoping to achieve from this conversation? and yeah
