COUNTERSPELL: DEV UPDATE - 35 | Abilities: ‘Cyclogenesis’
Introduction:
Eileen’s unique character ability is ‘Cyclogenesis’, which allows the last cast Spell to be suspended in mid-air for as long as the Ability button is held. Regular Spells cast through suspended ones are sped up dramatically.

Application:
Cyclogenesis is especially strong for players who are good at reading their opponent’s movements, using suspension to lay traps or set up areas of denial.
Similar to Pestis’s Swarm Control, this Ability allows the user to self-Counter in a pinch. Be careful, however, as opponents can likewise take advantage of the suspended Spell.
Spell cooldown is cut off as the Ability is activated, making it possible to suspend and then cast a Spell in rapid succession for unpredictable high-speed shots.
A more advanced technique is to use the suspension property to bait a Barrier attempt and then punish it within the same shot.
Cyclogenesis is an excellent choice for players who like to remain unpredictable and play mind games with their opponent. As suspension requires the holding of a button, some executional dexterity and multitasking is required for optimal results.

Nitires's unique character ability is 'Warp', which instantly teleports it to its last fired Spell.

Application:
An unassuming yet versatile ability, Warp can be used for offense, defense and mobility. Provided Nitires has a Spell out, teleportation allows for virtually unmatched flexibility in stage traversal. The act of teleportation instantly cancels any current action, which means a faulty Barrier attempt can be salvaged by quickly moving out of harm's way.
Alternatively, it is possible to bait an opponent into Deflecting a Spell, only to teleport to it and punish the recovery of the failed attempt.
Warp can also be combined with a Killdash to devastating results.
The Warp ability is a great options for players looking for more freeform movement and additional mind-games to subject their opponents to.
Warp does demand keen awareness of Spells as it is entirely possible to teleport into chasms and hazards, with unfortunate results for the user.
