"How long will you breastfeed Amora?"
Well, Amora is only three months old so it's not really in my mind at this point. However, a lot of people have actually asked me this question. Except it's usually phrased "how long will you let Amora breastfeed" or "when will you stop Amora from breastfeeding"???
I agree with letting babies nurse as long as they want to... I mean I think theres a limit I wouldn't still breastfeed when shes like five-- but for a couple years if she wants to breastfeed I am not going to deny her that. It is good for her, the best. Why would I take that away?
The only problems I have with breastfeeding are worrying about not having enough milk for her stored up when I start working... or become engorged while working... but I will learn and get it all figured out.
I think I am going to join LLL (La Leche League) for extra support and advice, they have it once a month just down the street at the hospital where I delivered...
Speaking of-- I need to start pumping since I work next week.
