Got a call from the neighbor saying there's a cougar in the area again. Normally no big deal but I walk my dog on the back roads a lot, and this time of the year there's not much daylight. My dad offered me one of his guns, but I pointed out I've never shot a handgun, I'd need a rifle. In the end we settled on the shotgun. Less aiming and a shorter range.
Don't know how I'm gonna juggle that, a flashlight, and my dog, but we'll see. I doubt I'll really need it, but them pumas are crafty, ya know? Stalking little shitheads.
