15) A song that is covered by another artist - This Modern Love - Owen Pallett - I think there’s only live versions of this but, as we already know, Owen is essentially flawless and this is no exception. It’s simultaneously upbeat and depressing and cathartic and therefore it gets top marks.

20) A song that has many meanings to you - A Letter From God To Man - dan le sac vs Scroobius Pip - This song is not only amazing in it’s original meaning and general power as a song, but also I know all the words to it and whenever I need to straighten out my thoughts or focus or calm down or basically not be drunk/freaked out I recite it in my head or speak it out loud and it calms me down and sets me straight (does anyone else do this?) so it has many meanings from being in different situations. I’ve also always wanted to perform it as a monologue and it’s great to mime/act out in the mirror (this whole paragraph makes me seem SO COOL). 

23) A song you think everybody should listen to - The Magic Position - Patrick Wolf - Kind of an obvious choice? BUT this song is so HAPPY and POP and INFECTIOUS and FUN and why it isn’t everyone’s go-to happy song I will forever wonder

30) A song that reminds you of yourself - Let’s Lightning - Pull Tiger Tail - This is more reminding of a former self, and also not all of the lyrics apply to me, but I vividly remember loving this song when Colin Murray used to play it and one time when it came on I turned off my lights and sat in bed and just felt SO connected to and emotional about the middle 8 and all these lyrics:
