Closing Up Shop
Hey, guys.Â
It’s been a great two years, but over the past several months I just haven’t had the time, mental capacity, or energy to keep Life in Religious Publishing going. I haven’t been around at all in the past month, and after such a long span of radio silence, I decided it was time to officially call it. I’m no longer going to be adding new content, reblogging content, or accepting submissions. However, I’ll still keep the page open so you can scroll through the archives, and we can continue to laugh at this quirky yet wonderful corner of the world together.
It’s been a blast, and I will certainly miss laughing at our crazy publishing jobs, and getting to know the other Publrs. Speaking of which, be sure to follow the other awesome Publrs. Here are a few right here: Life in the Slush, Life in Erotica Publishing, Life of a Dude in Publishing, Life in Small Press Publishing, Life in Academic Publishing, eBook Nothings, and Brooklyn Book Girl. Â
So farewell, Tumblr Pals. The next time you pick up a religious book and you think you hear a snarky comment whispered over your shoulder or along the wind, know that it’s only me, simultaneously being a creeper and a smart-ass.Â
See you around the interwebz, kids.Â
